The Challenge XXX: Episode 12: Boxed In Recap
With last week's episode ending in the dismissal of Nelson, this week we're back to find out who is nominated for The Presidio. Dario is put up because he hasn't done anything so far in the competition. His words being, “I’d being lying if I said this hasn’t been easy so far.” The girl that was nominated in was Veronica and Kailah says some BS about her needing to prove herself but I don't really recall too many instances where Kailah has done that herself.
In the Presidio, Tori pulled the double cross saying she just knew it was the double cross and "returned the favor to Aneesa", sending her to compete against her friend, Veronica. I don't blame her; just got back or not, she double crossed Tori before. Jordan does the impossible and pulls the double cross for a third time and I'm convinced he is a magician. Not really, but seriously he is hella lucky. Jordan uses his double cross and chooses Tony to go against Dario.
The elimination game is Web of Lies, where the competitors have to drop in a tangle of rope, make their way to the bottom, obtain a flag and make it back to the top. Instantly, I thought about the time I got stuck in the foam pit at Sky Zone (but thats a story for another day).
Guys compete first and Tony and Dario are pretty close in this competition, quickly making it through the levels of web. At this point, I am rooting for Tony, if solely on the basis of his 2 children and Tony wins.
So now it's the girls turn, Aneesa vs. Veronica. Veronica gets a super lead ahead Aneesa, almost diving through 2 layers. She makes it back to the top and hangs the flag, securing her win. I am so proud of her for "proving" to the others why she is here (despite her having been on several Challenges before).
T.J. then drops the news that there will be yet another Redemption House and everyone's face was like..
I am glad that Aneesa will get yet another chance to come back in the house and show these girls that she is here to win.
Back at the house, Veronica decides to let the girls know that Aneesa was ruining her game, which how can you blame that on her. Play the game, do you! Don't try use anyone as a scapegoat for your shortcomings.
Tony and Hunter are sitting down chatting and eating, and do what should've been done a minute ago, form an alliance. They are the two odd men out; why not work together? Tony has smartened up and is about to play the game.
This week's challenge is called Blackout, competitors will be in blacked rooms and scratch the paint away to reveal numbers to unlock a pickaxe that will be used to smash glass and escape the box. When out of the box, they will then had a giant puzzle to solve. The winning team will not only be sending 2 people to the Presidio but they will also be sending 2 people straight to the Redemption House.

Leroy, CT, Camille, Derrick, Tori
Tony, Jordan, Kailah, Veronica, Britni
Jemmye says if her team wins, they are sending Kailah because she is such a bitch and you get no arguments from me on that one, Jemmye.
First team out the box is the Blue team because Johnny said he only needs 3 numbers and he'll pay with the lock until it opens. Green team is out next and the pink team panics because they can't find the numbers.
Camila wouldn't shut up and kept standing on the pieces so though they were last, with her on the pink team trying to control everything, they had no chance. I'm so sick of her, can she go home already?
Green team pulls the win with the advantage of Veronica's smarticles and immediately deliberate about who they are sending to the Redemption House. T.J. begins to ask each person who they are sending and.... CLIFFHANGER. We have to tune in next week to see how this ends. (Honestly, MTV will you change the format of these shows back?! I dont like this!)
